mg 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I'm usually not very interested in cute pet shots, but I think this one is interesting and well taken. To tell you why it got my attention, I must confess that I once, in 1990, faced two sall white dogs sharing a "drink" in a coca cola cup. But admittedly, your picture is far far better than mine was. Your camera angle is very good whereas mine was poor. Your colors are wonderfull, whereas mine were not - white dogs, grey dust :-(. AND, most importantly, 1) you got the right amount of light on the faces, as well as 2) two great expressions - whereas I couldn't even see the eyes of the cubs in my shot. Now of course, I am not certain that the 2 dogs in the background add much, and I even feeel they are (mildly) distracting, but life isn't always perfect, and I think you did pull this through in a very nice way. I was also wondering whether or not to crop on the right for a perfect square, in order to "eliminate a distraction". But in fact, I'm not sure, because it would also reduce the breathing space around the 2 main actors. Pros and cons. PS: I have two young twin boys (age 6), and who often share a drink too. And of course, they were absolutely delighted as I showed them your picture. :-) Regards. Link to comment

wesleybrownphoto 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Also great and I don't like pet shots either. They are beautiful creatures in an amazing environment. Perhaps I will leave the city soon... Link to comment
