javedrassi 3 Posted February 2, 2006 This was a difficult shot, my goal was to capture the web on the dark side. I took many shot, finally I got one I wanted. Comments would be great. Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted February 3, 2006 I guess I realize the difficulty in this shot... but this has worked beautifully. Personally I'ld like to see somewhat clearer and more shiny radial fibres also, breaking the monotony of rotations more effectively. Also perhaps the spider a little to the right so that the center of the web gets a clearer hint. Although then the white section would appear skewed with the spider to its right, it would look fine to me I guess. In any case, beautiful execution, fine details, and a nice original shot. Cheers. javedrassi 3 Posted February 3, 2006 Debasish, I took this photo late at night, I found this critter hanging on the wall of my house last summer. I took many shots and its really difficult to light without overexposing the spider on the white wall and web mostly on the darkside. Thanks for your comments and input, I really appreciate it. dchatter 0 Posted February 4, 2006 I see the difficulty for sure! Haha! The spider probably saw your activities with great curiosity; perhaps it too admired the originality. :-) Cheers. Oh, and interesting biopic. :-) I just noticed this was shot in Illinois. Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking. I stay in the Univ of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. Link to comment
