Great concept, but too strained (we can see the lines!). It's like the Wizard of OZ, you don't want to know how it's done because then it loses all it's illusion or magic.

ops, thanks for your comments, I agree with you and I tried to do it but I wasn't able to come to any good, please do you have any suggestion on how to "remove" thouse lines or how to make the hand not look so "real"?

My favorite post-processing tool is the "clone" stamp. Unfortunately it's only found in earlier versions of PhotoShop (I think PhotoShop 6 was the last?), but it's still my favorite blending tool. Your image is really quite excellent conceptually, it would be worth looking into modifying it just ever-so-slightly!

I like this work, the only thing that I think may help is to try to make the mand part of the tree, if I were you I would use a second layer just with texture of the wood, and with the colone tool mix it into the rest of the hand and tree, making it one single piece. the tree texture must continue to the hand. I hope this would be usefull. Best reagards!
