Guest Guest Posted February 1, 2006 It's funny how little is needed to reach a sky high altitude of beuty. Beautifull, simply beautifull. Link to comment
etan_lightstone 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Stellar shot! Is that backdrop real or a total photoshop fabrication? If real.. what is it? Link to comment
mattvardy 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Fantastic image, really nice. What I like most is the unusual set-up, where it appears you have made every effort to keep things rough-looking and imperfect. Refreshing to see a darker, colder still life that emphasizes ruggedness and grit as opposed to the clean perfection we normally see photographers striving to achieve. The lighting is outstanding.. just a brilliant play of highlight and shadow. Details are wonderful as well. Composition is fairly centre-weighted, but it works surprisingly well. A really nice image to look at. Link to comment

sheer 0 Posted August 7, 2008 Very beautiful shot. Excellent control of the lighting makes the simple subject really stand out. If you don't mind my asking was this done with standard lighting or by "painting with light" and a long exposure? Link to comment
