davidmccracken 2 Posted February 1, 2006 When David has no pretty models to photograph, he takes to photographing himself! Sad, isn't it? Feedback appreciated! Link to comment
toddk1 0 Posted February 2, 2006 the entire image looks cyan, making the skin tones look sickly and the money off color Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 2, 2006 Todd, Maybe you need to adjust your monitor. This is what my hand looks like. Link to comment
eimages 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I like this. Really good artistic image of a serious problem. Alex Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 2, 2006 Alex, Thanks a lot! Just a bit of fun but I realise it is a serious problem! Michael, Surely not? Link to comment
toddk1 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Maybe that is what your hand looks like but that is not what money looks like, on any monitor Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Now here's a theme I can really sink my teeth into. You don't want to get me started :) I like the way you didn't include the top of the bills. I like the obviously tightly clinched fist. The blood looks very realistic, what did you use? Blood? Admittely, your fist is a little pale :) You've got to go outside occassionally, you can not get a tan from strobe lights :) On closer inspection it looks like you may be a nail biter :) Me too! :) Maybe the bills are a little cyanotic due to the squeezing & bleeding :) I wish it could have been my fist, then you would have had the added benefit of my surgical scar :)When people ask me what it looks like I say "A failed attempted suicide by an extremely ignorant person" :) I have to wonder if my new bone plate will set off the metal detectors at the airports???? Yikes! "Step this way & place your feet in the footprints on the floor, please". Then......I could have added the unbelieveable story of the costs associated with my injury & all the different payments both myself & my insurance company made to 2 different sets of hospitals & doctors. One really deserved payment, the other, well...... they certainly did not! Corruption at it's finest, Healthcare costs in the USA :( Who would have ever dreamed a broken arm could cost so much & it's initial treatment be so screwed up? I should have known! If it can happen to me (I'm an RN & husband is an MD), it can happen to just about everyone. Really sad! Rant, rant, rant! :0 Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 4, 2006 Jayme, I am glad you got that off your chest. A couple of things.... I don't bite my nails out of habit but find my teeth the best implement for trimming them. To get the blood in this shot, I put some broken glass in my hand and squeezed. The result is quite good! You believe me don't you? Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted February 4, 2006 My sentiments exactly about the nail biting, why don't other people understand that? :) As for the glass in the hand.............Not! But it does look real! Link to comment
