Stevens Gulch

This photo was taken in Stevens Gulch and also near the trail head for

14000+ foot Greys and Torrys Peaks in Colorado. The lingering snow

and nice clouds made for a sunset to remember. Comments and ratings

most helpful.

Great composition! Dont you think it is slightly heavy on blue.

Everything is very much in balance. both the comp and exposure are good. Perhaps a bit more dramatic light to fully bring out the potential.

I notice there are some vignetting appearant, not a big deal, but wouldn't hurt to remove that. Regards!

A good Landspace, perhaps i would like that cloud were darknest, but it's onlu a opinion. (Sorry for me English)

Roger, I live in Colorado too, let me tell you that this is the only I have seen in a long time that looks so natural and well done at the same time. I love everything about this, the composition including the stream (milky motion is great) the great exposure of the sky is just perfect, great use of ND filter if you have used it. I like your design. You might consider dodging the grassy area on the right, to keep the appearance of triangle layers throughout. Also, burning the bottom left corner might help balance the exposure. If there were a bright white cloud in the upper right, you'd have quite the shot.
