Huangqiongyu

foureyes

the Temple of Heaven in Beijing has a number of gateways that create vistas like this,.... framing the different temple structures,I took several photos of this location and only one captured the sky as you see it here,...but the image had people (..tourist) passing by....so I waited,then...took some more without anybody in it,...and stiched two images together.I hope you like it.

Huangqiongyu, ( Hall of Heaven ) also known as Tiantan park in Beijing,

when the Emperor arrived at the Temple of Heaven, he changed his robes

in this building, before going into the ritual pf praying for a good

harvest.

Well seen and well captured. Suprisingly good exposure considering the lighting extremes. I also want to say that I am a huge fan of the samml portfolio you have. I have't seen you post any new photos in awhile. I actually took a few shots of some seashell because I was inpsired by looking at your seashell and starfish photos. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful lighting and framing on this photograph makes it stand out from the crowd. Saturated colors and symetry on the doors add to the charm of the photograph. Well done!!

Love the tonality on this. Incredible light as well. Thanks for the explaination on the location - makes it even more mysterious and captivating. Your work has been missed on PN in recent times. Welcome back!!

Nice tone. If I remember correctly, the color of the roof is blue. You have an excellent portfolio.
