Foggy Day II

Male cardinal was nice and sat still for numerous shots. It was a

wet, foggy morning, and the DOF selected made for a nice background,

I thought. Comments?

aesthetically its nice but not overly original. the angle the light is hitting the bird and the color it casts over it is appealing and well done or planned.

Nice light, great subject, and good background. I see from your notes that this shot was taken in fog. Overcast conditions such as these are perfect for songbird photography in my opinion. Well done.

Nice shot, Kim. The Cardinal must have been very lazy or ill. I can't get the things to hold still for more than about three seconds. Great capture, nice light angle, as well. Cheers.

Thanks, Jon & Barry. Barry, when you have about a dozen competing for food and you have a portable bird blind, it seems to work. This guy sat nicely for the longest time. I took so many pictures, I finally just stopped because I felt like I was getting too many of the same thing!
