philippe_mourdon 0 Posted October 25, 2001 Good work! In the same way of all your shots! Good lighting work and exposure! Do you use a blue filter or a post-prod to have this color? PHIL Link to comment
digital singularity 0 Posted October 25, 2001 I really like the color tone to this. It feels cold... I think you have some great work. Link to comment
blago 0 Posted October 25, 2001 A really nice work. I wonder how you manage to keep the small details sharp after the compression. Blago Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 25, 2001 Excellent shot Rene. The lighting makes the composition even more intriguing than normal. I am always impressed with images that work with blue and this one is certainly impressive! Link to comment
j.o.kim 0 Posted October 25, 2001 Excellently captured vague lights turned into vivid image in this photo. None a light is missed even though it was a very faint one. Amazing ! Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 0 Posted October 26, 2001 Excellent photo, well composed with beautiful lighting. One minor suggestion: the hand catches the light and rather dominates the picture - unless this is the intention it might be more balanced if the hand is darkened a little. Link to comment
mottershead 0 Posted November 2, 2001 The light, pose, and model are all beautiful. The setting is wonderfully moody and is very well enhanced by the blue cast of the colors. I am curious whether this was done by modifiers on the lights or in Photoshop. While the blue cast works and makes the image more striking, it is a little too much perhaps, especially in the model's skin and hair. I agree with the previous comment about the hand. These are minor points, however: a memorable image. Link to comment
think27 0 Posted January 10, 2002 I would dearly love to know how you did this? The lighting is outstanding...the blue works so well here... Filter? Photoshop? Whatever you did it is something I'd love to try myself. Oh, and the expression on the girl is appreciated even more when you make this image larger. To really appreciate the detail - I recommend clicking on large. Outstanding image. Link to comment
don_hauerken 0 Posted January 24, 2002 This gallery is just wonderful! There are so many of your images which I really enjoy viewing... this is just one of them. The light is beautiful in quality and color. And I love the line of the stairs! To my eyes, a change in two posing elements would turn this into a really outstanding image. I'd change the upturned fingers down and I'd like to see some angle in the legs; either separate the ankles but keep knees together for an "A" shape in the legs, or cross the ankles and drop the knees to the side. Of course, that's easier said than done at this point! But I'm a portrait photographer and try to work those elements to best advantage when I'm shooting. You did capture a wonderful look here, though. Link to comment
