This photo made me think of Anne Boleyn, one of Henry VIII's many wives. And, it made me shiver.

I find this a bit morbid and dramatic for my taste but from a photographic point of view it is well executed (pun intended) and interesting.

An image of severed love and a wounded heart. Very difficult to portray without showing some sign of being wounded isn't it? Yes it's a bit scarey but it does convey the emotion I think.

Beautiful manner to represent something that could have been violently overstated and instead is intensely portrayed. Elegant and yet extremely emotional. I think in the end is great to have experienced something that could have caused such feelings.
