I like your photo very much, Dominick. If I was to change anything, IMHO, it might be to reduce the sky by about 1/3, but avoid having the horizon in the center of the picture. Well done.

This is a tough shot, with the dune backlit. But it's well done. The overall balance of colors is wonderful, conveying a real wintry scene. I would not crop out the sky, as previously suggested, as that would bring the horizon right in the middle, thereby dividing the image in half. I like it the way it is.

Quelques suggestions , peut etre, pour la rendre explosive ? eliminer la partie brulee du ciel en haut a droite; conserver le cadrage horizontal, imho et malgre la proposition de David (qui conserve le ciel brule dans son recadrage vertical) en respectant la regle des tiers mais en faveur de la dune qui reste l'element qui accroche le regard ( on rentre parfaitement dans l'image de gauche a droite - bravo!); retravailler la luminosite du ciel, justement, pour recuperer de la matiere dans les nuages (bravo encore pour cet horizon si parfaitement...horizontal!)...un poil de contraste pour rendre cette dune encore plus evocatrice...

J'aime beaucoup celle-ci, mieux que la derniere version sur les suggestions de J.-P. Romeyer car je trouve que le ciel apporte beaucoup a la composition, malgre la surexposition a droite qui ne me gene pas tellement. Au besoin, j'essaierai plutot de la faire sortir du cadre en "tordant" un peu le ciel au lieu de recadrer toute la photo, ce qui la partage en deux parties egales, avec l'horizon presque au milieu.
