Hot or Cold

A very early piece which has always been a favorite of mine. I've always wanted to paint and

this seems to be about as close as I get. And for some reason, since I was very young, I have

been fascinated by faucets and faucet handles. I think they are such works of art in of

themselves. The reflections in the chrome are very long, thin "glow sticks." This was exposed

with only the light from the glowsticks and digitally manipulated. I envision this piece very

large, 4' x 4' Comments are always welcome and appreciated.

I see the fascination with the colors. Thanks for telling me what it is and how you made it. I wonder what it would be like if the base was level? Would that ruin the dynamics and mystery of the image? I want it level to make it look even more futuristic... but then I just finished reading an old copy of 'I Robot' :))

Someday soon, I want to buy hundreds of those chemical glow sticks that you snap to activate and do a series with just the light from them. They give off a very interesting light. I still want to blow this up huge and hang it in our bathroom. Thanks for coming by!!!!
