Really nice colour and crop. Would like to see the whole beak in focus and if the branch is coming out of the frame, I'd like it in focus too. If the branch were behind the frame, it wouldn't bother me that it's blurry.

One heck of a colorful shot; I've not seen one with this much color on the head and well exposed. I don't think having better dof on such a small bird and using such a long focal length is possible since it is constantly moving its head. Nicely done.

Increible el color de la beza, pero si parece que esta en relieve, la composicion perfecta sienpre guardando la regla de los tercio, mostrando una fuerza en la composicion. Saludos

Great subject great shot. I would have to say your wildlife shots are some of the best I have seen. The birds will wear out the 7 on my keyboard. :)

All of your photos are marvelous, but this one caught my attention in particular. The lighting on his head just shows his brilliant coloring so well, and the branch coming out of the frame gives the picture a 3d feel, and I can practically touch him! Bravo! Just beautiful!

hey, nice pic

it seems to 'stand out' from the image has there been some post processing around the feet on the twig or the twig?

the coloured feathers stand out like they've been colourised ... perhaps some may as equally like it.

How did you get the 'metallic' look of the head plumage? Was it just with lighting/flash, or a PS trick? ...k
