billkantor 0 Posted January 26, 2006 I considered trying to straighten out the slight horizontal convergence in Photoshop but decided to leave it as captured. Thank you for your thoughts. Please provide conctructive feeback to ratings 3 and below. Link to comment
tony-mistretta 0 Posted January 26, 2006 I like the dreaminess and color saturation in the reflection. As long as the trees are straight, which they are, there is no need to try to straighten the horizon, in my opinion. Link to comment
nanette 0 Posted January 26, 2006 I have to disagree with Tony. This image feels boring in my opinion. I hope you don't mind but I did a few changes in PS that makes this image more interesting (for me). Hope you don't mind, as I didn't want to write it all down when I can just show you. :) Link to comment
billkantor 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Thanks Nanette. Thanks for the new persective. It's certainly a more dynamic picture this way. Personally I always struggle wth images created by turning the world upside down. Not sure why. Maybe it feels like cheating. (But why should that be cheating any more than using any of the other methods I use regularly such as contrast enhancement?) That said, although this image is more dynamic than mine, I don't think I could bring myself to create images in this way. Thanks for the insight. Bill Link to comment
