This is a 'clubber', not in any way a 'professional' as some have

suggested -- she's just out for a good time at San Francisco's

Broadway/North Beach nightclubs on a Friday night. Your ratings and

critiques are invited and most welcome. If you rate harshly or very

critically, please submit a helpful and constructive comment/Please

share your superior knowledge to help improve my photography.

Thanks! Enjoy! John

This photo, Ben, was presented primarily for its value as an 'interesting' photo -- there is little real photographic merit here compared to many of my 'street' photographs, just an opportunity to show something that seems universally interesting, to men at least, but I find also that women spend an inordinate amount of time looking at other women (and many confess to me that in their heart of hearts they'd like to be 'intimate' with another woman and have 'crushes' on other women, though they like men much more and are married or will marry -- preferring a 'conventional' lifestyle).

One thing about this photo: It is quintessentially American -- no Frenchwoman of her size/weight would be caught dead wearing an outfit like that, and same for most countries of the so-called 'civilized' world.

In any case, this photo is to 'fill out' a folder on San Francisco, rather than 'show off' any photographic talents I may have.

;~))

But I'm more 'voyeur' I think, preferring to be outside with my cameras, than inside with the overpumped up music, the horrific din and the superficial socializing.

I much prefer a one-on-one tete-a-tete than the jam of bodies physically gyrating with no hope of communicating. Maybe I'm just not so tribal, because I've always been that way.

Not (as Seinfeld would have said) that that's wrong . . . being a clubber, that is. ;~))

Put it this way, I would like to be a 'clubber' -- superficially it seems attractive, but presented with choices, there I am with my camera(s).
