alecee 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Went to the Epsite Centre at Wheelock Place, Singapore and saw this escalator and the glass dome. Looks good for an interesting angle photo. Enjoy. Link to comment
grey-n-wiser 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Nicely composed, great exposure. Yes I will enjoy! Thank You, nice job! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Thanks Richard, looks very American isn't it? At left you can just make out BORDERS store and the Apple logo on the right escalator. ^_^ Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Very beautiful game of linees!!!!! The D2X..also you!!!! Excellent choice!!!! Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Thanks Franscesco, Sarah. D2X is company's camera and D200 is for personal use. I find both equally good but D2X ideal for large prints. ^_^ Link to comment
c brake 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Nice lines and lighting, excellent clarity. I like the reflections on the escalator. Good image, Alec. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Brake, Ben thanks for coming. Vincent, how's life back in Kuching, taking lot's of photos? ^_^ Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Damn, Alex. You did it again. I stayed at hotel right across street from here and took about ten pics in here but I didn't get anything useable (maybe if I had a DSLR) ;-) Anyway, great color and perfect exposure as always. Good work. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Hi Bill, always wanted to shoot it this way. Didn't bring my tripod and so held my camera low down the escalator and shot it pointed upwards without looking at the VF. After some clicks got it just right. That's the beauty of digital, you can always delete the badly framed images. Hahahah. Bill you probably need to use a wide angle attachment for your F828 as I shot it on 17mm but 14mm will be ideal. So time to upgrade to DSLR? Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Well taken Alec, and its exactly how i saw in your LCD. i'm more impressed by the fact you took it in such low light indoors at night hand-held with ONE hand! I guess you're not that old after all! hehe Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Heheheh, coming from a great Pakistani squash player that's a real compliment Bilal. Thanks Bilal, too bad you only brought your 85mm F1.4 Canon L lens that night. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 28, 2009 Lovely photograph, Alec. It all comes together into a very pleasing composition. Link to comment
yannik_hay 1 Posted July 31, 2009 Lovely! I like this kind of photos as I do some also from time to time. I like the modern and traight lines and the modern textures. The reflections are very apealing. The staircase brings us to the sky (stars as you say). Very well done! ps: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=9044856 Link to comment
