Thanks in advance for the input. As time passes, you will see that I have a cross section of

work. Paul

Congratulations Paul. I have just received your website and have begun looking at your photos. This one, "Shroud of Trees", struck me immediately. It is captivating, it tells a story, it has depth and a beautiful and harmonious mixture of colors. (Where the heck is it?)

Well done!

Beautiful and mysterious. It looks like a road "less travelled by." One wonders where it leads. I am curious how it would look if you saturated the colors a bit.

Thanks, Naim: Yeah, the saturation is always a bit of a mystery as to when to stop versus does it need it verses too little. Actually, the color balance was off when I initially shot this and I've been trying to find that perfect spot. Thanks for the comment.

Wow, Paul!! This is superb! "The rusty leaf way". The autumn is my favourite season, and this is one of the best days from it. I can feel the leaf smell and silence in surroundings. Beautiful!!

Thanks, Alin: I appreciate the comments. I do like this image. Particularly the flattened depth of field due to the telephoto lens. I'd love to photograph this during the four individual seasons but in Southern California, we don't get snow.
