lupine 0 Posted January 24, 2006 I've uploaded this photo for some feedback in an effort to see if I want to become a subscribing member. I have plenty of additional work that I will consider uploading and getting feedback on once I see what type of comments are forthcoming. That is not to say I want all the comments to be positive but I want to see how constructive the comments are. Thanks in advance for the input. As time passes, you will see that I have a cross section of work. Paul Link to comment
james_hagopian 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Congratulations Paul. I have just received your website and have begun looking at your photos. This one, "Shroud of Trees", struck me immediately. It is captivating, it tells a story, it has depth and a beautiful and harmonious mixture of colors. (Where the heck is it?)Well done! Link to comment
nozturk 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Beautiful and mysterious. It looks like a road "less travelled by." One wonders where it leads. I am curious how it would look if you saturated the colors a bit. Link to comment
lupine 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Thanks, Naim: Yeah, the saturation is always a bit of a mystery as to when to stop versus does it need it verses too little. Actually, the color balance was off when I initially shot this and I've been trying to find that perfect spot. Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
alinux33 0 Posted February 18, 2006 Wow, Paul!! This is superb! "The rusty leaf way". The autumn is my favourite season, and this is one of the best days from it. I can feel the leaf smell and silence in surroundings. Beautiful!! Link to comment
lupine 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Thanks, Alin: I appreciate the comments. I do like this image. Particularly the flattened depth of field due to the telephoto lens. I'd love to photograph this during the four individual seasons but in Southern California, we don't get snow. Link to comment
