robertbrown 1 Posted January 24, 2006 Comments appreciated on grungy abstract. Thanks Link to comment
tholte 16,741 Posted January 27, 2006 I really like these last two abstracts, very sophisticated. Have you blown any of them up and framed them? The "empty nesters" are moving back to the city and buying expensive condos downtown. I can see these pieces hanging on their walls, after shelling out some nice jing to Mr. Robert. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted January 28, 2006 Robert, that's another beautiful abstract of yours. It is a though viewing experience of sorts to go through. Let me try to articulate this. Of course, I cannot resist my brain's obsession with finding patterns, so I start reading the yellow sopts and the vague yellow traces. It fails. I then start interpreting the red patches, hoping for a larger drawing... and I am at a loss. I then go through the vaguely purple mid-way structure, with no hope...to give the greens a try. Amazingly enough, only after I've ran out of options I manage to look at the abstract as such, enjoying its texture and hues... but as soon as my eyes go out of focus from the whole picture and land on the yellow spots...here the cycle starts again. In summary, I've troubles getting away from the image. Indeed, something which deserves to be in large dimensions and on a wall. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 10, 2006 An unusually fine abstract. The texture, color, and composition all provide much to study and appreciate. Link to comment
