kslonaker 0 Posted January 24, 2006 See other image in the folder for the concept behind this one. Comments and comparisons? Thanks! Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted January 24, 2006 Hey Kim! I see that the winter has you stuck inside as well. Believe me, I am most appreciative of my heated studio when I have to face 27 days of straight rain here in Seattle. I had a break between activities and shoots and thought I would stop on by and see what new faces have popped up on PN. Speaking of faces, this is really an odd face to be finding in gravel. I'm completely at a loss of descriptive words. :-) Nice Kitty! Take care Kim! Thomas Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted January 24, 2006 Kim, this says I am a master of the medium. Great shot and fantastic post processing. Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Kim, I like this one just that little bit better than the other one. She looks like she could jump out any moment, in the mean while looking with big innocent eyes to the world, ready to trust a helping hand stretched out to here despite what she has gone througt... I may take it Cleo (or is it her mother? ;) has found a good home with you? Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 25, 2006 Ilse, both Cleo and her mom, Moxie, have found homes with us. Both pictures are Cleo. Link to comment
ghiga 0 Posted January 26, 2006 Great PS work, but I'm a little worried about the idea of the cat underground... Link to comment
pahrkm 0 Posted January 26, 2006 When I first saw the thumbnail of this picture, I thought it was a cute little kitty peering through a frosted window. Then I clicked on the thumbnail, and as soon as I saw the picture felt an overwhelming sadness. I knew exactly what you were going after here without reading your message. I've adopted four animals, and all of them were strays. Our newest family member has all kinds of health problems, but he has been a joy to us. We live in the country, so we get a lot of drop offs here. If I ever get to Texas, I would love to get some photoshop lessons from you! But I should probably start with some camera lessons. kslonaker 0 Posted January 27, 2006 This kitty will not be hurt in any way by us; this was just a concept I had. If it has some visual impact and makes the viewer uncomfortable, then that's what I was going for. Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Beautiful art work! I love that you kept the eyes in colour. I don't feel sorry for this kitty at all. I wish I could do my kitty justice with such a great image! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 29, 2006 I find this one the most "disturbing", because this cat looks more buried than the others... Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted January 29, 2006 Well done, Kim. I love the textures and the B&W...all except those big eyes jumping out at you. Always good work.... Link to comment
