Baul

Bauls are mystic ministrels of rural Bengal in India. Their colorful

dress, soul-sirring songs and way of life are popular. The single

-string musical instrument in the hand is known as 'Ektara'. They

pirouette, while singing.

The mystic bards of Bengal have been captured in your lense although they are free birds who roam about throughout the countryside.The picture is very colourful

The expression of the person in the corner, completely absorbed in the music, is great. Now, at the same time, I'm a bit distracted by the background which is too bright and competes for attention with the player.

 

I would suggest a very extreme -and maybe provocative- crop, to bring out the things I like the most: the music being played and listened to... things which are difficult to put in an image of course, but I guess you made it!

Very beautiful image, you are lucky to live in such a colourful place..I am thinking of coming to India this year sometime,maybe you can tell me what months are the best regarding heat and rain.

I like the B & W version more.
