hadady 0 Posted January 21, 2006 A truly soft-comedy piece that brought a good smile. I like how the cat is cleaning it's paw and the young woman mirrors a similar posture. With both of them so focused . . . the pensive tension in the calm room is nearly outrageous; then, top it off with the bust on the side board and the 'fish' ceramic on the shelf under the cat -- too much! Lots of silly sniggering laughs! Thank you! Link to comment
cfimages 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Love it - the cat must be the new secret surveillance weapon for Homeland Security :-) Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Corri: Not only real, but he just got off my lap an hour ago. In his younger days, when this photo was taken, be was surprisingly agile. V Hadady: You're very perceptive! I actually hadn't thought about the fish before, though the bust was definitely on my mind when I saw the scene and picked up my camera. (I've always thought the thing was a bit creepy; it's of my wife as a child.) Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted November 15, 2013 I come back to this one often and yet I have never left a comment! I love this one because of its reality; both in the scene and in the way I live my life with these lovely creatures I call my furry children. I live with 12 furry children and so scenes such as this one here are every day life - a cat up on the bookshelf, one (perhaps even two or three) on the leather chair below it, one napping on the dining table, one on the entertainment center, one or two at the desk with me while I work at the computer, and others spread out in various locations where sunshine can be found. Great shot and capture of life with our beloved furry children and friends! Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
