mspanakis 0 Posted January 20, 2006 I was there just before Euro2004. I like the softness of the structure, accantuated by the pastel colour and the soft focus. As if the decorations were semi-fluid, like on a bread or fabric, rather than made of stone Link to comment
maria 7 Posted January 20, 2006 This is another view, but here I have not chosen so well the exposure time, and in the original size it is really too soft :( I am glad you like the effect! Many thanks Maria PS: Remember when you wrote me about "bravo" and "brava"? I Portugal I've learned that the word for "thanks" accords, but to the person who sais it, not to that to whom it is said. Ex. I say "obrigada" and you would say instead "obrigado". The colleagues from Germany who heard this as well, were of the oppinion that the Italian accordance makes sense, as it refers to the person to whom it is addressed, but such, never heard ... However, back to Italy, I was talking with an Italian lady and said, yes, because the verb is missing, in Italian you also say "sono contenta", if the auxiliar is "to be" (like in French for example), then the participle accords to the subject, both for "brava" where it would be "sei brava" as for the thank you formula ... :) Link to comment
maria 7 Posted February 2, 2006 This is another view of the Jeronimous monastery in Lisbon, Portugal, and another view of its ceiling. I was told that it survived the 1755 earthquake, which many churches in the city did not. thanks for sharing your views Maria Link to comment
