salvatore.mele 1 Posted January 19, 2006 I sometimes get a decent picture on mountain tops in nice weather. This time, it wasn't exactly sunny. Does this picture work for you? Your comments and criticism are most welcome. Link to comment
calvin2032 0 Posted January 19, 2006 I really enjoy looking at this picture. The way the terrain dissolves into the fog; and how to the immediate left and right of the woman is a sharp contrast to the dense fog (or is it a cloud?) The only thing I can really complain about is the white section of the frame you made. It isn't even and I don't believe white is the best color you can choose. Everything in the picture is a muted color, so experiment with more earth tones. Aside from the white I give it a 6/6 Link to comment

Karl Schuler 48 Posted January 20, 2006 She seems to be hesitant. With this weather probably she would not go up. But once up she has to go down. What to do? Good shot. Karl Link to comment
delp 0 Posted January 20, 2006 Yep, I can understand the hesitation. You now moved to something more 3D than the usual thick black frame ? well done. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Funny, but it reminds me of a painting of Caspar David Friedrich. So, I would love a hint of detail in the fog... Anyway, this has lots of suspense, even for non-mountaineers. Clever composition. Perhaps a bit more space for the person would be perfect, not sure. Link to comment
