Looking for Love

I guess it is a sign of the times that people search the newspapers and internet looking for love. I thought I would try to photograph this phenomenon.

Just a bit of fun but feedback is appreciated.

Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some of my deleted images and where I will be uploading more soon.

Todd, I am not sure I understand your comment but thanks for making one.

The 5D is fine. It is fast and the focussing is more accurate than the 10D. It's not perfect but it's a lot better.

gotta love those headlines. I wonder if you could have found a better paper (I doubt it).

I like everything except the fuzzyball hair tie, not personal just not my taste in hair fashion.

I am very interested in what you say about being deleted from a forum topic. I am assuming you mean this one.

It seems that a Forum by Bob Atkins' definition is a place for people to agree with him. Strangely enough I did agree with him but he still saw fit to remove the comment. He also removed a comment placed by John Peri. I didn't see your comment, please tell me what you said either here or in an email. It is always good to hear from you.

I thought about statring a forum on the subject of 'moderating the moderators,' but I am sure it would have been moderated away. Your thoughts on that are also appreciated.

First- I enjoy your humor & ability to transpose it to images. Nice job.

Second- I regret I missed this forum discussion. It was shortly after a discussion I started re: basically moderating the moderators (specifically Bob- Arrogance & Sarcasm). It got archived after only a few hours. (not deleted, just archived, so nothing more could be added). Several people then started similar topics, but theirs got deleted immediately. Censorship at it's worst. I found this censorship not only alarming, but annoying. But when one's leaders can listen in on your phone conversations, read your e-mail's or knock on your door & check out your home without a warrant, all in the name of "national security", it figures that freedoms everywhere will be compromised.

What they fail to do is learn from history. A Kingdom can not survive without it's subjects. :) "Let them eat cake!" :] I meant "cake & ice-cream" :] (Famous Larson comic).

Humour is the main order of the day. I do try. It is nice to know it is appreciated.

As for you missing the discussion... it is perhaps best you did. You would have effort into it, only to have it removed. I could go on....

David, I had replied to your comment basically stating the site's policies not being as clear as some might like it to be. I also said a test would be fine but could we make it like Bush's no child left behind test- a joke. Afterwards, I saw it was gone and thought hmm, gotta stop smoking that stuff cause your minds going...but after seeing John's post I realized that stuff I'm smoking isnt working as well as I had hoped. I replied to John's post explaining why it was probably deleted- and got deleted again. Then posted that they win and I give up but they didnt delete the links - but that and the links were soon deleted too.

Jayme, best that you didnt waste any time responding to that thread. Obviously, the site feedback forum is for whining about getting 3/3 and no one commenting on their 3/3 shots oh and complaing about too many nudes when its obvious there are too many bird shots ;)
