jgerecht 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Stunning photo. Just about perfect. The softening of the skin works in this case. I'm glad her eyes are shut so the whites were over done. This is the right way to make perfect skin. The only flaw is that the lips aren't as perfect as the face itself. But this is a masterwork. Thanks for ahsring. Link to comment
piero caroti 0 Posted October 17, 2006 Great managing of lights, also low key area shows details, great portraiture compliments Link to comment
djino_djino 0 Posted November 10, 2006 This is obviously great and strikink I would like to contribute with a comment on what I believe would be an improvement (I might be totally wrong). 1)there is an imbalance between the contrast in the lips and in the face. 2) the face a certain areas lacks detail. may be this is due to digital. I would love to take the same picture with a Hasselblad film camera. Great work. DD Link to comment
chris_clark6 0 Posted November 11, 2006 I really like the image - the lighting and tones are perfect. My only ideas for changes would be to show a bit more of the model or the surroundings. For example, why are her eyes closed? And I find that with her eyes closed, I'm not sure what to be looking at - eyelids are not really interesting so you find yourself focusing on the lips or the cheeks. Maybe if she had her hand in the picture or resting on the side of her face, or if you could see a rainy window near her face, etc. that would help put it into perspective and place. But I still love the picture. Link to comment
