The only thing I would change, here, is not giving out in the title what this is all about, and let the viewer agonise in trying to figure it out.

 

I like the colours -of course- but I am particularly atracted by the composition, with the layers of material growing upward from both the left and the right: there's lots of rythm in this image.

Despite great colours I'd like to see a mono because that would help us better appreciate lines. Thumbnail suggested a shot of a coastline taken from great altitude.

This is a masterpiece better than all my spatial pictures. It looks exactly like the latest pictures (photos) of the most distant parts of the universe! God is with you Sam!

I agree - my first reaction when I saw this was "hubble"..and since I go around collecting hubble pictures, you can guess i really likd this one!! Mother of pearl / shells / abalone also being one of my very faves! Well done.
