lauriee 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Very nice I like it a lot. The only thing that I would change is the pole in the front right of the photo...Otherwise it's beautiful! Laurie Link to comment
ryanforan 0 Posted January 19, 2006 i really like it. i actually like the pole, i think it balances the barn/house. they're standing together but apart, it's cool. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Yow!! Nice photo...The pole for me is ok gives that point for the eye to wander away and back again to...does it make the image better? who cares!!You nailed this shot!! very nice! Link to comment
t.a.herlyck 0 Posted January 19, 2006 I would agree the pole kind of gives the picture balance and I also like the contrast between the frost on the fields and the dark clouds Link to comment
arnabbanerjee 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Is it a composite? The light on field does not match with the sky consition - I may be totally wrong...I will be curious to know Link to comment
mike_gal 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Great image Kevin. On my monitor I can see a round dark blue (dust?) spot towards the middle of the image. Link to comment
reighamsyde 0 Posted January 19, 2006 yes my freinds (another one of my great works of art)(well I would say that anyway) Jokes aside it is basicly 3 photos brought together to make the image Link to comment
adolfovalente 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Very beautiful landscape, with splendid tones Link to comment
n-j 917 Posted January 19, 2006 for me the sky doesn't work at all with the rest of the scene; it's too grainy and the cloud constellation and scale doesn't fit the horizont; it looks fake at first sight; besides this its a nice composition, although your portfolio ( I like it very much )show some real good compositions and this one doesn't really come near your level; best regards nj Link to comment

billfoster 0 Posted January 20, 2006 Another winner, Kevin. I shoot in places like this a lot, but can never quite capture the sense of expansivenenss that you got here. I agree that the pole helps. My only quibble is, again echoing another, with the sky. It seems like you did a seperate level adjustment on the sky to bring out the darkness but it's a bit excessive and there is a definite line at the horizon and particularly around the house. It's really nice otherwise and I LOVE the composition. Link to comment
vincentleong 0 Posted January 20, 2006 Less is more, love the little house as the main subject. Lovely composition! Congrats! Link to comment
flynn 4 Posted January 21, 2006 I have G2 but I never expected this kind of shot, it is like from View or Field large format camera not point and shoot... Great job! Link to comment
talvitie 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Very nice picture, but I see too much of picture manipulation. Link to comment
