This very nice image is of a Water Lily, which is very common in Sri Lanka, not a lotus. Nice frame too. Congratulations.

Spencer, Photo Fun, Jack, Cherlyn thanks for the comments. I know the Lotus flower has been photographed a zillion times but I have never seen this variety in my hometown. It's so clean that it seems artificial that's why I had to do it justice.

 

Ranjith, thanks for the information. I've check Google images and both the Water Lily and Lotus flower looks very similar with many different colors and petal shapes. However Lotus petals tend to be wider and Water Lily petals slimmer so you may be right.
