What a great expression you've captured Sharon. Nice sparkle in the eyes too. Did you use a flash on this shot. Oh, I read somewhere that you entered you first juried photo contest. How did that go?

Love to hear from you! No, I did not use a flash, just sunlight. She is one of my favorite models, her eyes sparkle! Thanks for asking about the juried contest, I haven't heard anything, first they have to be accepted, I think this weekend.

Sharon- the over all image is really nice. I love the expression & the eyes. On my monitor, I see a few distracting thinkgs. I am seeing a lot of artifact in the skin ( over shapening?) and the top of the head (hair) is completely blown, but the water on each side is not. I think these could all be corrected with ease in your original image. I hope you don't mind, but I think this is what the judges may comment about.
