Felix, a wonderful composition. Postive and negative at the same time! Well done!

I love this composition. A very good image. But the blown-out highlights in the background are distracting, and the background is not quite smooth and blurred enough for my taste. The foreground is perfect.

Wow, this is very different and original. I agree with Chris about the background. It could be still silver/grey but with smaller grain or dots. Imagine this on a solid red background. Hmmmmm, or ivory if you wanted to retain the subtle black and white look.

Maggie's comment prompted me to revisit this one, and I have to say: I really do like it. It has the flaws mentioned, but it really is a very creative and beautiful piece of work.
