Thanks for sharing :) I like the depth caused by the fog. I think the photo has to much color. With that I mean, I like the soft colors on the levy but I think a narrower color band where you exclude the colors outside the levy would make the photo even more aesthetic then it already is. That or maybe try grayscaling it and add more contrast. Not sure about the last. Keep up the good work!

Yes, you could do some PS with a more muted color palette, or a composite of color over toned B&W. What I would try out to make it perfect if it were mine is a sacrifice of 20% on the right side, since I find the almost centered tree not so attractive. The hoarfrost and foggy atmosphere is great, nice lead-in, a very good landscape !

Carsten, thank you for your suggestion. I was fighting myself about the composition., This image was taken long time ago, I was not so much aware of the composition rules. I made a crop here is the link. Do you think it is better? thanks jana

Beautiful shot, Jana. The cropped version works better as a composition and also the colours work better, but I miss the feeling of wide open spaces in the cropped version.

Perfect! The new version looks a lot better! Personally I'm not bothered by the lack of empty space. I love the new colors as well!

I like the original as it is. . . . The color is more original then the suggested one. . . . Excellent shot Jana. Perfect composition. . . . The reason I appreciate the composition is, you didn't shoot from the road, you get down to the ditch or the bottom of the elevated road and shoot from there, and with that, you created a more static effect of the road with the field, as disappear to the fog. Bravo Jana.
