arjen van de merwe 0 Posted January 12, 2006 Well done, strong expression. But the treatment of the subject is a bit to cliche for me. Ah, what a poor child, with no context kind of thing. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted January 12, 2006 C'蠤a perdersi in questi occhi: tristemente immensi e luminosi. Intenso ritratto. Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted January 12, 2006 I converted this from your colour version and emailed it to you. a more traditional conversion but keeping those eyes with impact. Your version here is striking but I think you went too far and lost detail in the hair when you did not need to. My opinion of course. Did you focus on the eyes too much? Don't forget that white nose! Poignant expression. Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted January 14, 2006 Thank you all, dear friends, for your kind comments! I must tell you that the kid wasn't unhappy at all; his village was nice and clean, he was well fed; he was a bit bored because his mother kept him in the hut instead of let him play with his friends! Louis, I agree with you, the B/W in this version is a bit extreme. That morning I must have been strong impact oriented! Link to comment
