zlm 0 Posted January 13, 2006 Had just driven through one hell of a snow storm in Wyoming, stopped at a rest area to catch my breath and relieve the white-knuckles, and captured the backside of the storm. Any advice would be much appreciated, I had to play with the levels a bit to get it looking somewhat normal, as it came out looking quite blue originally. Thanks! Link to comment
karen rexrode 0 Posted January 13, 2006 I like a tighter crop, more of the bottom taken out. Great image that way, in my eye. Link to comment
nanette 0 Posted January 13, 2006 I like how the fence draws me into the photo. Nice tones, however, I would crop out the foreground where the gravel is. It gives a more balanced shot, in my opinion. Link to comment
jstyles 0 Posted January 15, 2006 I like the composition as is, and the colour looks great (the only slightly unnatural part might be a slight magenta strip along top and bottom? Might be monitor-dependent). The contrast is perhaps a touch overdone for my liking, and there is a (sensor dust?) spot in the snow at lower R, but overall you've captured the storm and beautifully lit field well.
