Lovely light, good detail. Beautiful image!

The backlignting on the feathers is awesome! What time of day was this taken? The light really emphasizes the beautiful coloration patterns on the individual feathers and reminds us of their delicacy. Great timing!

Lots of great photos you've got here, Jerry. And you know your birds, obviously. I haven't been able to find any misidentified species, which is pretty rare. You probably already know that this is a Whimbrel, too, right?

What can I say ... you a trully a master in this area of photography. As I said before ... not an easy thing to take artistical wildlife photos ... this one is not the most artistical image ... but many of them are. Congrats.
