Beautiful composition and capture.

Fantastic--I love the overlapping planes of grey and the clean composition. This is what happens when you have an expert meteorologist and an artist occupying the same body.

Pretty scary, but awesome! Good capture yet again.

I can't add anything in terms of technique ... I never photographed this kind of atmosferic events. But I like the way the black clouds recall the black ground, and the grey tones in the middle. I suppose it wasn't easy to stay there in that moment. From your image I guess it was raining around the hurricane, wasn'it?
