paolo mollica 0 Posted January 10, 2006 I like it very much, the colour contrast makes the house po up. Good! Link to comment
daheiden 0 Posted January 10, 2006 Are you shooting from a hill or another building? It would also be interesting from a slightly lower angle. Nice picture. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted January 10, 2006 David, I was shooting from the highway. There was a steep hill and private property between the barn and I. Link to comment
richbh 0 Posted January 10, 2006 Good photo - I like the tension of the fences in both fore- and back-grounds. I wish the trumpt of the barn was not so centered - I'd like to see more of the terrain to the right of the frame. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 10, 2006 Sondra, I like the telephoto compression here and the barn really pops out of the muted tones of the rest of the landscape. The barn is too central imo but whether there is a better composition there I couldn't say. Given your skills I would imagine not. Link to comment
dens 4 Posted January 11, 2006 Nice shot, like the red building, not something you would see in the UK to often! Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted January 11, 2006 What a view,Sondra, should be great in the fall also.....Being from the flat lands of central Indiana, I can fully appreciate the beauty of the vistas of West Virginia.....Jim Link to comment
dennisdixson 0 Posted January 17, 2006 You can't go wrong with a red barn and rolling hills. Thanks for making me miss Virginia. You really have a wonderful collection of photos here with a lot of variety in style and technique. Link to comment

deniselanterman 0 Posted June 7, 2006 Really beautiful. I can feel the crispness of the air and want to go wandering in those hills. Love the barn- why are they always painted red ? Link to comment
