Flowers with strong shapes seem to work well in b&w. I always like a dark background with flowers anyway. Nice, Howard!

Very nice tonality and lighting, Howard. This one works for me with the off center composition.

The simplicity in composition and colours make this one stand out. It also lets the play of shadow and light on the petals steal the show here. I really like this one.

I have to say that this is my favorite of the four floral shots. I can't put my finger on it. It's as if the flowers were either white or very pale (yellow, maybe) monochromatic to begin with. And the exposure is perfect. The background doesn't detract and the crop is great. And the lines draw my eye toward the right. I just like it a lot!! Regards!!

as seldom as b+w does flowers justice, when it works, it's really wonderful. Congrats!
