pnital 36 Posted January 10, 2006 Howard, simply very beautiful, the placement on the frame the light and shadow play on the petals and the B/W rendition that makes it different. Pnina Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Flowers with strong shapes seem to work well in b&w. I always like a dark background with flowers anyway. Nice, Howard! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted January 11, 2006 This will make a very nice print. UI like the dark background and the floating flowers. Link to comment
sriram 0 Posted January 12, 2006 Howard, the flowers really stand out with the dark background. Excellent work! Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 13, 2006 Very nice tonality and lighting, Howard. This one works for me with the off center composition. Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted January 13, 2006 The simplicity in composition and colours make this one stand out. It also lets the play of shadow and light on the petals steal the show here. I really like this one. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 14, 2006 I have to say that this is my favorite of the four floral shots. I can't put my finger on it. It's as if the flowers were either white or very pale (yellow, maybe) monochromatic to begin with. And the exposure is perfect. The background doesn't detract and the crop is great. And the lines draw my eye toward the right. I just like it a lot!! Regards!! Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted January 14, 2006 as seldom as b+w does flowers justice, when it works, it's really wonderful. Congrats! Link to comment
