Very nice. Clean, sharp and vivid, like so many of your other shots. Only thing I could possibly think that might make this shot better is if the shovel was to the side of the people, so that you can see its silhouette.

Dieter, this is a very scenic shot, and works very well. In particular, I like the aesthetic effect of the transition from a cold blue top of the picture to the first lights of dawn to land, isolated by all the black of the silhouettes, to the flames.

Compositionally, I was about to comment against the cramped human figures and the empty space at their sides, but -after all- this is what one would do with a campfire indeed... move close to it. So, the composition works fine indeed in conveying the message.

I am enjoying this new desert series of yours.
