It was the strong play of lights and shadows on his face that caught my eye.

very good portraiture, great angle and excellent lighting.

Pnina, perhaps a little more impact than a children's photo normally is, but it is all the more memorable....By his mild expression, I would bet he makes friends quit easily....Jim

I love the strong light, black and blue diagonal colours. It is rare to see a good portait in strong light.

could have some more light on the right side, but i guess you know. besides that there is enough to enjoy, expression, composition and the bleu and skin tones make it stand out.

Pnina, a very strong and complex image, masculine I would say. Love the light and the diagonals. A handsome young man. Very fitting and very well done.

Playing with light & shadows is your expertise, Dear Pnina. This is no exception. I like the simplicity use of colours here.

For expressing your points of view. very interesting!

The general idea was the strong effect of light and shadow. I could easyly open the shadow on his right side with PS, (and I even did it...) but I thought that the impact is stronger in the uploaded one.

Thanks again to all of you,It is so helpful to get your impressions. Pnina
