pnital 36 Posted January 10, 2006 Donna, not very common to see that kind of bird's shot in B/W...I really like it, and its position in the frame, Pnina Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted January 10, 2006 Yes, the B&W did get my attention. Nice work. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted January 10, 2006 Thanks everyone for your comments. . . the only reason I converted this to B&W was because the background was an unappealing beige color, and since the bird's colors are black and white and grey, it wasn't much of a change. . . besides I think it gives the image some pop which helps match the bird's fiesty attitude.. . lgreene 0 Posted January 10, 2006 The fiesty attitude you mention comes through stronger with it's pose also. That glare over its shoulder(wing) is great. Very good:-) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 12, 2006 This is one bird that works well in b&w or sepia. We have 4 in our yard and they let you walk right up to them - definitely not a "shy" bird at all. Link to comment
