asr 0 Posted January 8, 2006 That's a nice frame, Dave. But I think the foreground needs a bit more exposure ... the photograph in general is quite dark (I presume you wanted to portray January as dark and cold ...) Do you think a 2G-HS would've helped better? Unles you've covered the whole scene with the 2G-SS rather than align it with the horizon. Nevertheless, it still is a beautiful exposure, and does indeed convey the right mood of January. Good job! Link to comment

kristina_kraft 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Everything is smooth, with little contrast. The glare of ice dominants and is the only that attracts an eye. It's realy great to be a part of that moment. Best regards Link to comment
laurie_santiago 0 Posted July 2, 2007 I love this picture. It creates a wonderful mood, whether intended or not. You end up feeling you?re in some desolate place and the only one around to view this scene. Can I ask you where you took this picture? Link to comment
dave_k1 0 Posted July 3, 2007 This was taken just south of Anchorage, on the Potter Marsh tidal flats. Link to comment
