Thank you for your suggestion, Javed. I like your version of framing and I've thought about it. But I also found the reason to leave the trunk of the tree on background. My thoughts were:

1.enhance composition with repetitions of lines;

2.I found symbolic in partial arch, imagining the girl entering into serious adult life.

It might be worth trying to darken up the highlights on the tree; they compete with her eyes and the highlights in her hair. Nice.
