October Landscape_

Taken at low tide before Bird Point.

Bellisimo encuadre, color, composicion, regla de los tercios nitidez, primer plano, fondo de la nieve y las nubes en general 10/10. un cordial saludo Dave.

Ok, you obviously used a ND grad here. How then did you manage to keep the light on the distant mountains? They are in the same level as where you seemingly placed the filter, and should appear as dark as the trees to the left. I am very very curious now!

 

As for the photo - I like it. Very nicely composed, interesting foreground, even though it is a little messy. Not that the latter would mean anything negative. As usual, you present a landscape that isn't standard, considering all the varying ground, especially towards the distant mountains. Beautiful!

Dave, I really admire your photography. This is another fine example.

Although they are both of the same scene, this one seems a bit flatter, perhaps because the light and dark tones seem more evenly spread across the picture.
