reddoor 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Pnina I'm not a fan of cat shots but this photograph is excellent - composition and lighting is excellent. Link to comment

madhav 0 Posted January 6, 2006 excellent shot Pnina..have you tried rotating it CW so that the pillar is parallel to the edge of the picture.?.. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 6, 2006 Thanks Chris,Julio, Daily and Kalaga. Kalaga, No, I would not change it because imo the cat and the pilar are performing a good angle. Thanks for your suggestion. Pnina Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Indeed very strong photo. The hard lighting on the concrete surface, against the soft, fragile little animal is wonderful. His/ her expression is priceless, alltogether a very good, touching portrait Cheers Carsten Link to comment
alexandra rauh 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Wonderful portrait too,I guess cats are always candid.I love the dreamy eys. Link to comment

cjrupp 0 Posted January 7, 2006 Pnina, once again your use of light has painted a beautiful image. The angle of the concrete post balances the image. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted January 7, 2006 the sweetness in those eyes makes this cat photo different, Pnina. Very intense. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 7, 2006 Thanks Michael, CJ, and Paula. I'm glad you like that kitten, I think that her look is special, nearly human... Pnina Link to comment
waltrude_2000 0 Posted January 7, 2006 Lighting and compostion is stronger, more dynamic in this capture but the all black surface to the left is destracting me.Like when you are playing rythmically ( It has got rythm )soft and in a groove and then loose focus and hit the strings to hard. The surface belongs there but is out of tune. Nice cat anyway. See You! Cheers! Walter Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 7, 2006 I am happy with the angle the background etc. The light and shadow are nice with a good range of tones and the narrow range of colour works well. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 7, 2006 Thanks for expressing your point of view. Walter, I tried to crop the left black side befor uploading, and imo it has lost the rhythm you are talking about..At the end everything is a personal taste...and to mine in this case, it is the right decision, thanks for looking at both of them.
