davidmccracken 2 Posted January 5, 2006 This would possibly fit into the architecture category too. I really am unsure of this picture. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I think it is just too plain. I really would like to to know what others think. Feedback appreciated. Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some of my deleted images and where I will be uploading more soon. davidmccracken 2 Posted January 6, 2006 Ernest, Thanks. Marjan, I can't remember where I took this. I just snapped it while I was out and about one day. I will ask some friends if the recognise it. Link to comment
emotive 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Cagney voice: Took me a moment...Sea? First; it's a great shot David and it has the McCracken signature style. Second; the one different blue pane on the left makes this a twofold mystery. Lastly, I was thinking of signing up for photosig. Are you a satisfied member there? Did I mention that it is a terrific shot? Really good, C? Sea? See? Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 6, 2006 Secondly, don't tell anyone, but I didn't notice the two tone window on the left. Firstly, thanks for saying it is a good shot. I like it too but I don't think I have any style. Lastly, photosig is quite interesting. It is a comments based site which on the surface would make you think it would be more useful than this one. However, unless you are a premium member or a standard member you can only post photos as you gain points. The only way to get points is to have your critiques approved by other members. (This is usually a fast process. Less than 30 minutes in my case although I am now a standard member there.) There are still many uninformed people on that site but at least they are willing to string a few words together rather than just hit you with a 1/1 in protest. I would say give it a go and let me know how you get on. Oh and yes, you did say it was a good photograph. Thanks for that. Link to comment
