maria 7 Posted January 4, 2006 Sorry about the rainy weather. I did my best playing with saturation and such. Any hints what more could I have done? (except of waiting for a sunny day, of course) When I first saw these fountains I recalled there was a "No Words" thread on conic shapes. Then, the water flows in something which exemplifies perfectly the principle of a tsunami: straight long rectangles with decreasing depth towards the ends. The water from the fountains falls down, creates a wave, which becomes a tsunami like wave when reaching the ends ... I have no comment to this. Maria Link to comment
stephen hazelton 3 Posted January 5, 2006 Sunlight might help. Perhaps flash would have helped, too, just to get some sparkle in the water. Higher shutter speed would probably have helped. Having a dark background might help- perhaps dark clouds on one side while the fountain is still in the light. Link to comment
maria 7 Posted January 13, 2006 Hi and thanks for the advices ... Yes, dark clouds would have been better, but for some reason when cloudy, they are white/light grey ... Not so much thunder, rather long-lasting rain where I am taking photos :( kind regards Maria Link to comment
