I like the idea of this photo Joe. There are a few things I think that could improve it a bit starting with the color. It might help to correct a bit of that tungsten lighting to get rid of the yellowish cast. You also have a lot of empty space (table) in the picture, maybe try filling it with more chips? Good luck.

Thanks for the advice,would using a filter effect in PS be the best way to correct the lightig or would you go a different route?

I would just use the color balance tool in the "image" menu and pull out a bit of yellow.

Here is my corrected version Joe. I pulled out 50 yellow from the midtones, and 5 yellow from the highlights using the color balance tool in the Image menu. Hope this helps.
