mrhaydon 0 Posted January 3, 2006 Another version of my favourite tree in B&W with added deep blue filter. Link to comment
tom t 0 Posted January 3, 2006 Nice one, and very dramatic. The birds are the icing on the cake. Overall perhaps a bit too dark - but maybe you did that on purpose? Regards, Tom Link to comment
will king 0 Posted January 3, 2006 Mike, this has to be my favorite of the day so far. Absolutely flawless composition. The tree looks very sinister, and the dramatic sky adds to the overall Afred Hitchcock look. I know you probably added the birds, but what about the sky? Link to comment
mrhaydon 0 Posted January 4, 2006 Thanks for your kind comments. Yes Will I took this picture facing south, but the sky was shot shortly after facing west. So I looked at both images and thought...they have to go together. Slightly odd and spooky, but it's what I was after. Link to comment
will king 0 Posted January 4, 2006 Mike, personally I think you're a genius when it comes to seemless photoshop composites. I really do admire your work. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 4, 2006 I love this shot Michael. The tree is just fantastic. Even without the sky and birds, this image stands out as phenomenal just based on the composition and exposure of the tree. The sky and birds are icing on the cake. Very spooky. Due to PN restrictions I can't give you a 7/7, but that's what it is to me. Link to comment
httpcommunity.webshots. 0 Posted January 4, 2006 really good. I don't feel the blue color at all, but i curious the color version of the sky. Good Picture !! Link to comment
mrhaydon 0 Posted January 4, 2006 Thanks for your comments guys. Genius! No, inspired! Sometimes. I do need to go back and shoot more of this tree. I've been cycle training in Richmond Park for years, but only spotted this tree a month ago. It is very photogenic. Link to comment

midget 0 Posted January 6, 2006 I love it. Every time I see trees in pictures it seems so easy and abvious, but when it comes to taking such a picture, it never works. I wish I could see trees just like you. Regards Link to comment
