lucyhollis 2 Posted January 3, 2006 Study of the patterns and colours of the leaves and within the leaves of an agave (century plant). Any comments are welcome and appreciated. Also, what do you think of the frame? Recently I've had some critisms of using frames like these - that they detract from the image, are naff, or redundant. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 4, 2006 I love this! All the different shades of color in one plant; this is beautiful! I like the frames. It makes them look like posters. Link to comment
bob_brins 0 Posted January 4, 2006 I like it. My mind is drawn to the repeating shapes presented in different aspects and tonality. You might try to tone down or crop out the unharmonious bright spot on the left. This would also be a good image to attempt duo toning. Bob Link to comment

ransford 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Excellent treatment of this plant. I've tried several times to photograph it, but never happy with the results. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 3, 2006 For someone so young, you seem to have the "eye" for photography. I like the pleasing colors and nice crop of this one. Frame is good, imo. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Neat abstract, but I feel my eye gets drawn a little too strongloy to the sharpest and brightest area of the picture - bottom left corner. Since this is such a commonly photographed subject, I suppose it takes a little morethan this for a picture of it to stand out from the crowd. Regards. Link to comment
