gb3 6 Posted January 2, 2006 Hi Laim, I like her pose and her (your) choice of garmet (great for a winter shot) and the shadow effect on the wall, and also the graduation on the left side of the photo. But the lighting has somehow produced a harsh effect overall.. it seems that it needs more 'softening.' It appears that you went for a somewhat dramatic effect by lighting only one side of her, which has caused her hair to disappear into the shadow here. This might have worked better for a model with blong hair, but it was an experiment worth trying. Just to see how softening her up would affect the photo, I tried a few quick experiments with a blur filter, plus lightened up the dark shadow area a bit. Let me know what you think. They're a little wild, but her pose is too. GB Link to comment
dima7g 0 Posted January 3, 2006 There is something, I can't quite put my finger on, intriguing and complex in this photo and the model. It's original not in the pose, but in the overall end effect. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 13, 2006 I love the almost arrogance of this pose too, which definitely goes with the colour of her hair..... chris Link to comment
